You Know You Are a Nursing Mom When...

1.       Your mood for the day varies based on your supply.
2.       You ask for a deep freezer for your birthday.
3.       You started taking Fenugreek & Blessed Thistle and now smell like maple syrup.
4.       Your day revolves around your pumping/feeding schedule.
5.       You literally cry over spilled milk (you worked hard for that)!
6.       You find it’s much easier to get out of chores, family dinners, etc. If a baby has to eat or a mom has to pump…no one can argue with that!
7.       You once were extremely modest but now feel very comfortable with your shirt off.
8.       You use words such as lactation consultant, let down, nipple confusion, and nipple guard.
9.       You find yourself searching for things on the internet such as ‘when can I have a glass of wine while nursing’ or ‘how to know if your baby is getting enough milk’.
10.   You finely understand what that ‘special section’ at church is with the privacy glass.
11.   You run for the hills when you hear a baby cry at the grocery store for fear of having let down and a wet shirt.
12.   You dream about the day when you will be done being a human milk machine. At the same time, nothing is more special than nursing, and you can’t imagine the day when you last nurse your baby.
